The Environment Centre is a welcoming meeting place to network with professionals and experts in desired fields of sustainability, organics, gardening, eco building, retrofitting and much more. Started in 2003 the Environment Centre provides a place for the public to connect with information, organisations and services and also provides educational opportunities through the facilitation of short courses and workshops.

Providing a public portal for:

  • Information, Education and Courses
  • Library, e-newsletter and Advice on Environmental issues
  • Wormfarms, Bokashi and Composting solutions
  • Organic Farm NZ Certification, local organic suppliers and wwoofing
  • Trees for Hawkes Bay Nursery
  • Permaculture- information, courses and groups
