Tairawhiti Environment Centre
Tairāwhiti Earth Centre supports projects, activities and services that empower communities in the Tairāwhiti region to take action that materially improves environmental quality. The centre is a place that is accessible to the general public and its key activities are to:
- facilitate, motivate and inform existing and new groups within the community to take action that improves environmental quality
- provide environmental information and education services for the community
- act as a focus and meeting place for community action on environmental issues.
