Tauranga Environment Centre
Mission:
Tauranga Environment Centre is the Western Bay of Plenty’s hub for quality sustainability information, advice and action.
The Tauranga Environment Centre (TEC) Charitable Trust was formed in 2001. Since then, the Centre has successfully delivered programmes, services and projects to the community that focus on and promote environmentally sustainable initiatives. The aim is to demonstrate sustainable living practices by becoming an ‘envirohub’ at the Village on 17th community hub. The Trust believes this will help us achieve the goal of providing quality environmental services to the Western Bay of Plenty community and ultimately the wider Bay of Plenty region.
Our Vision:
To generate interest and action in our community to ensure a sustainable environment for us and for future generations.
